Today (22nd) at 12:26 noon, the roof of Jade Court, Tsuen Wan Garden, No. 12-18 Texaco Road, Tsuen Wan, smoked and caught fire, and many residents called the police.
After receiving the report, the firefighting team arrived at the scene with one throat and one smoking cap, and extinguished the fire 13 minutes later. No one was injured in the incident, and 30 people evacuated on their own. The cause of the fire is yet to be investigated.
A male resident surnamed Chen was very tired after the incident. He said angrily: "This fire can be avoided!" He pointed out that the building was undergoing elevator maintenance, and there was no obvious fire during the fire. He could smell the burning smell getting stronger and stronger, and felt inappropriate. He went to the roof on the 18th floor to check, and only then did he know that there was a fire.

Chen Xu said: "At that time there was no fire on the roof, very few, and there was no water in the fire hose." He and the neighbors called the police one after another, but for unknown reasons, they couldn't get through all of a sudden.
Chen said that the sundries in the iron house on the roof belonged to him, and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
The Fire Department responded to the inquiry and stated that it received a fire report at 12:26 noon, arrived at the scene 4 minutes later, and extinguished the fire at 12:39. 10 fire engines and 1 ambulance were dispatched. The cause of the fire is yet to be investigated.
During the period, firefighters used the fire hose on the scene to fight the fire, and it was confirmed that it could be used effectively.
