El Al security personnel around the world are being recruited these days in preparation for the operation of the direct flights of the Israeli airlines between Israel and Turkey.
Although El Al is the only Israeli company that is not expected to operate direct flights on the Tel Aviv to Istanbul route in the first stage, its security personnel also provide security services to Arkia and Israel Air.
If there are no surprises, Israir and Arkia are expected to operate direct flights to Istanbul in about two months, towards February 2023.

The Israeli airlines have already hired the services of local companies to provide them with ground services in Istanbul.
All the main details have already been agreed upon for the start of direct flights between Tel Aviv and Istanbul for the first time since 2007.
The demand for Istanbul is expected to be high, and towards the summer, some of the Israeli airlines will also start operating direct flights to Antalya, a holiday destination that is considered one of the most sought after among Israeli tourists, especially those flying in family groups.
