Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani criticized the repeated accusations and inappropriate statements of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the US Congress towards Iran.
The official IRNA news agency quoted Kanaani as saying today, “Iran has already repeatedly responded to the unfounded accusations of Ukrainian officials and their claims about drones, and confirms once again that it has not exported military equipment to any party with the aim of using it in the Ukraine war.”
Kanani made it clear that Iran has always respected the territorial integrity of other countries, including Ukraine, pointing out that Zelensky knows that Iran's strategic patience will not be unlimited in the face of baseless accusations.
In a speech to the US Congress yesterday, Zelensky reiterated allegations that Moscow used Iranian drones to strike energy facilities in his country, while Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said earlier: The allegations about sending Iranian drones to Russia have no purpose but to cover up. On the West fanning the flames of war and violence in Ukraine.
