According to her, these are

“preventive measures”

this often turbulent period which can lead to overflows.

One of them aims to ban the take-out sale of alcoholic beverages.

It will be effective on the evenings of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve: from 9 p.m., December 24, until 8 a.m. the next day, then from 9 p.m., December 31, until 8 a.m., January 1, 2023.

No rave party or teknival

Another measure concerns the ban on buying or selling

“retail fuel”

as well as

“removal and transport of fuel (cans, jerry cans)”

.

A provision that extends from December 23, 8 a.m., to December 26, 8 a.m., then from December 30, 8 a.m., to January 2, 8 a.m.

The last decree which applies to the whole of Loire-Atlantique prohibits

“undeclared festive gatherings of a musical nature”

of the rave party, free party or teknival type.

In addition, the text also prohibits

"the circulation of vehicles carrying equipment likely to be used for this type of gathering"

.

This measure will be effective from December 23, 8 a.m., to December 26, 12 p.m., then from December 30, 8 a.m., to January 2, 12 p.m.

Fireworks: localized ban

A fourth ban, specific to the communes of the Nantes agglomeration and those of the agglomeration community of the Saint-Nazaire region of the Estuary, was also taken by the prefecture.

It concerns

“the purchase, sale, transport and use of fireworks and pyrotechnic articles of certain categories”

.

This specific measure is valid from December 23, 8 a.m., to January 2, 8 a.m.
