MK David Bitan (Likud) is very angry with News 12 reporter in the Knesset Dafna Liel and claims that it is difficult for her to blow the whistle. In a conversation with Razi Barkai on IDF Radio, Bitan said about Liel: "Every day she gets up and broadcasts things she received from Netanyahu's office, without checking. Things that did not exist and were not created. Today, for example, she published that Amsalem received an offer for the transportation portfolio. He did not receive anything. I also do not understand her - how is she briefed and broadcast without knowing whether it is true or not true?"

It is important to note that in the background there is a previous conflict between the two regarding Liel's disclosure of the conviction of violent crimes by his uncle Laniad, an associate of Bitan, which led to his disqualification from running on the Likud list for the Knesset, and also the disclosure of a personnel law that Bitan tried to promote so that he could be appointed minister.

In addition, Bitan dismissed the claims about his expected appointment as chairman of the Economic Committee: "The fact that there is an indictment against me does not mean that I am guilty." MK Bitan also came out against Gad Itamar Ben Gabir's demand for a veto in the Ministerial Committee on Legislation and said: "What a mistake First - it's time to tell him he's had enough."
