The service sectors in Daraa have taken a set of measures to ensure the continuity of services during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The director of the Syrian Grain Corporation branch, Eng. Issam al-Sayasneh, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the Yarmouk mill continues to work during the holiday to secure the flour needed for the work of public and private bakeries, indicating that all bakeries regularly extract their allocations.

The director of the branch of the Syrian Bakeries Corporation, Engineer Hamidi Al-Khalil, stated in a similar statement that public and private bakeries operating under the supervision system will not stop working on holidays except for their regular weekly holidays, indicating that all production inputs and requirements for making a loaf of bread are available from fuel oil, flour, yeast, salt, and others.

He added, "The public and reserve bakeries are ready to supply the villages and towns that are exposed to malfunctions in their bakeries within the specified allocations and quantities, pointing to the tremendous efforts made by the workers in the field of securing the material with the required quality."

The Director of Health, Dr. Bassam Al-Suwaidan, and the Director General of the General Authority of Daraa Hospital, Dr. Yahya Kiwan, pointed out that the Directorate and the Authority work during the holidays to provide health care and ambulance requirements, including equipment and medicines, while organizing the necessary shifts in public hospitals and health areas, to cover all diseases, poisonings, and regular and emergency accidents with services The necessary medical services, ensuring the workflow in all departments 24 hours a day, and providing specific, first-aid and preventive medicines, especially in the ambulance and emergency departments and the internal departments.

The director of the Syrian Trade Corporation branch, Eng. Omar Al-Saadi, indicated that about 40 outlets and sales halls continue to operate during the Christmas and New Year holidays, pointing out that the branch is currently receiving quantities of materials that are stored in warehouses in preparation for supplying the halls and sales outlets, respectively.

He added: Sugar direct and vegetable oil are available in the halls and sales outlets on the electronic card.
