A shot rang out on Saturday, December 17, in the rue du Général Sarrail in Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique).
It was then around 5:45 p.m.
An explosion heard by several people.
Alerted, the police went to the scene.
They then discover that a 22-year-old young man is shot and wounded.
Supported by the SAMU, the victim, who presents a wound in the right leg, is taken to the hospital center of the city with a
“non-committed vital prognosis”

How did we get here ?
The forces of order will quickly determine it.
According to the first elements of the investigation, it appears that the victim had rendered a service, a car wash, to the person who shot him.
The latter, unsatisfied and
"dissatisfied with the quality of the service",
in the words of the police, would have returned a little later to the same place but armed with a shotgun.
It was then that he would have fired, at a short distance, in the direction of the victim's thigh, before fleeing.
Arrested at his place of work
Quickly, the police investigation makes it possible to identify the author of the shot.
He is a 37-year-old man from Saint-Nazaire.
Monday, December 19, at the end of the day, he was arrested at his workplace by investigators from the urban security brigade (BSU) of Saint-Nazaire and members of the local anti-crime brigade (Bac).
Initially qualified as "wilful violence by firearm", the case was requalified as "attempted murder".
The Saint-Nazaire public prosecutor's office, competent given the place where the event took place, relinquished this story in favor of the criminal division of the Nantes court.

The respondent was presented to an investigating magistrate on Wednesday, December 21.
He was remanded in custody.
This man is already known to justice for acts of "violence with a weapon".
