A young man in his 20s was shot to death today (Thursday) in a violent incident at a restaurant in Haifa.
Medical teams that arrived at the scene treated him, but had to pronounce him dead.
The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, which is suspected of being a murder.
Shlomi Feder, a medic at the Rescue Union, stated that "I performed CPR on a 22-year-old young man, and at the end of it, unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident due to the nature of the severe injuries he suffered. According to passers-by, he was fatally injured as a result of violence inside a restaurant."

Yesterday, a man was shot to death in Barhat and another person was moderately injured.
A medical team that arrived at the scene gave them medical treatment and evacuated them to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva, where a few hours later one of the wounded was pronounced dead.
Two suspects involved in the shooting were arrested last night, and a preliminary investigation shows that the incident was criminal and took place against the background of a family dispute.
The police also stated that a suspicion of a conflict between brothers was being investigated - according to which the victim, Amir Sami Ziadna, was murdered by his brother.
