A traffic accident occurred on San Tin Highway in North New Territories.
At around 3 a.m., a truck and a private car were traveling along San Tin Highway towards Sheung Shui and collided when they reached the opposite side of Tai Sang Wai. The truck lost control and overturned.
Three people were injured and trapped, and a large number of rescuers are on the scene to rescue them.
According to sources, the driver of the private car tried to escape, but was stopped by a nearby vehicle. It was finally revealed that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested by the police.

It is understood that the Lexus private car involved in the incident was suspected to be out of control at the time of the incident. It hit the rear of the truck from behind, knocked it over and overturned, and just hit the roof of the private car on the left side.

The police officer then escorted the male driver of the private car into the police car and detained him for investigation. He conducted an alcohol breath test and initially recorded a reading of over 90 degrees. He was arrested on suspicion of "drunk driving".
