Today (Friday) the attorney's office submitted to the District Court in Tel Aviv an indictment against Ali Hamed (31), a resident of the village of Silwad in the Palestinian Authority, who carried out a stampede attack in Tel Aviv on nationalistic grounds in revenge for the killing of his cousin by the IDF in the Yosh.
The indictment filed by attorney Amit Schloss-Lizerowitz indicates that Hamed decided to commit an act of terrorism and harm Jews as revenge for the death of his cousin who was shot by an IDF force, after he was involved in shooting at an outpost.
For this purpose, on December 8, about two weeks ago, Hamed entered Israel in his car, without having a residence permit or driver's license.

When he arrived at Abarbanal Street in Tel Aviv, he noticed the complainant standing on the sidewalk near the scooter, and decided to kill him out of a nationalist-ideological motive but because he was Jewish. At this point, he accelerated his travel speed, mounted his vehicle on the sidewalk and collided with the complainant forcefully.
Following the impact, the complainant was thrown into the air and thrown to the ground, and Hamed continued his journey while dragging the scooter and hitting other vehicles, until he stopped when he collided with a pole.
As a result of Hamed's actions, the complainant suffered many injuries and he was rushed to Ichilov Hospital for medical treatment.

At the same time, the lawyer Schlos-Lazerovitz submitted a request to extend his detention.
