Today (23rd) at 6:30 in the morning, the security guard of Meitian Village in Tai Wai reported to the police that an old man was lying unconscious in front of the parking lot of the estate, suspected to have fallen from a height.
Officers arrived at the scene and took the man to Prince of Wales Hospital, where he died.
The deceased, surnamed Han, was 82 years old. After preliminary investigation, the police believed that he fell from the platform of the housing estate shopping mall. No suicide note was found at the scene. The cause of death is yet to be determined after an autopsy.
It is reported that the deceased had a medical record.
