The department will also cooperate with the law enforcement teams of relevant departments to step up patrols in the venues around Tsim Sha Tsui, and take law enforcement actions against littering, illegal hawking and intentional disruption of public order. Violators may be prosecuted.

During the festive period, the public address system of the Hong Kong Cultural Center will regularly broadcast messages about crowd management, restricting group gatherings and wearing masks, and appealing to citizens not to litter, the spokesman said.
