The Transport Department reminds the public to pay attention to the special traffic and transport arrangements, including road closures and diversions in stages in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and the West Kowloon Cultural District from tomorrow afternoon, MTR services will be strengthened from 8 pm tomorrow night, and will run overnight, some bus lines, Green minibuses and Star Ferry services will also be adjusted.

The Transport Department stated that during the Christmas Eve and Christmas holidays (24th to 27th), a number of special traffic and transportation arrangements will be implemented in conjunction with festive activities.
Road closures and traffic diversions in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and the West Kowloon Cultural District will be implemented in phases tomorrow afternoon. Some bus and green minibus routes will need to be diverted, shortened or suspended;
During the road closure period, the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Terminal Bus Terminus will also be suspended from 7:30 pm tomorrow until the road is reopened and traffic resumes.

MTR and MTR buses:
Services of Island Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line and East Rail Line (Admiralty to Sheung Shui) will be strengthened from 8pm tomorrow
MTR Heavy Rail Lines (except Airport Express and Disney Line) and Light Rail Lines 505, 507, 610, 614P, 615P, 706 and 751 will also operate 24 hours a day tomorrow
MTR bus routes 506, K51 and K54 will extend service hours
Buses and Minibuses:
Some bus and green minibus routes will adjust or strengthen services tomorrow (including extending service hours)
The services of 41 KMB bus routes will be strengthened on the 24th, 25th and New Year's Eve (31st)
Other means of transportation:
Tram services will be enhanced during afternoon and evening peak hours
The Star Ferry service between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui will be extended until 12:30 am the next day
The Central to Mid-Levels escalator system will also extend its service hours on the 24th and 25th until 1 am the next day

The Transport Department appeals to members of the public to use public transport services as much as possible and avoid driving to busy areas. If driving is necessary, motorists are advised to be careful and patient, and pay attention to the temporary suspension of on-street parking spaces due to road closures.
