Starnberg – The first chairman of the Friends of the Starnberg Clinic, Karl Roth, could hardly believe his eyes at how much money has already been raised for the children's ward at the Starnberg Clinic!

The sponsoring association of the hospital was founded many years ago precisely for the purpose of also acquiring important medical equipment for the hospital.

The monitor system enables the children's hospital to monitor all children's beds centrally from the ward room, in addition to the supply order.

Without the surveillance monitors in the children's rooms, the clinic could not accommodate so many small patients and they would have to be transferred to children's clinics further away.

"Many thanks to all contributors!"

Many people have already responded to the children's clinic's call for donations.

"More than 75,000 euros in donations went to the account of the friends of the Starnberg Clinic.

And that only a week after the publication of the press reports on the need for a surveillance monitor in the children's hospital," reports the first chairman of the association, Karl Roth.

“This is a sensational result!

Many thanks to all donors!” “Once again it has been shown how important the association is for his clinic.

This is a first milestone for the purchase of the monitor system,” says District Administrator Stefan Frey.

Keep donating: The association hopes that the missing amount will be raised and that the monitor system for the children's clinic can be ordered in January of the new year.

Commissioning could then take place in spring 2023.
