District of Miesbach: Michael Stacheter supports the REO as a funding expert

District – Michael Stacheter is the new funding guide for the municipal company Regionalentwicklung Oberland.

He advises and supports companies in the district.

With the Förderlotsen, the regional development Oberland (REO) is launching a joint project between the areas of business and tourism.

Stacheter advises and supports companies in acquiring grants.

At the beginning of the year, REO carried out a company survey, which, according to a press release, revealed that many companies in the Miesbach district would like local support for the topic of subsidies.

The large number and complexity of funding opportunities often poses major challenges for companies.

With Michael Stacheter, REO would like to offer the companies support with immediate effect.

“The results of our survey clearly showed that we need to act more intensively in the area of ​​subsidies.

With our new funding guide, we are providing companies with a competent contact person who has extensive knowledge of various funding programs, provides targeted information to companies in the district and is available to answer questions," explains Alexander Schmid, CEO of the REO municipal company.

Stacheter has been working as a funding guide for the district since November.

His area of ​​responsibility is divided into two parts.

On the one hand, he actively draws companies' attention to funding and selects suitable programs.

On the other hand, he accompanies and advises applicants within the framework of the funding projects.

The 33-year-old Stacheter gained experience as a consultant for public administration at federal and state level.

“Energy efficiency, digitization, research and innovation – my first few weeks at REO have shown that these are the areas in which funding is sought most intensively in the district.

I look forward to being able to support companies in my home country so that they can use one or the other funding pot for upcoming investments," says Stacheter, looking forward to future projects in the new job.

As an example, he cites the Bavarian digital bonus, which has proven to be an attractive subsidy for smaller companies planning investments in digitization or improving IT security.

In the summer of 2022, the regional development Oberland was made up of the two companies location marketing district Miesbach and the tourism association Alpenregion Tegernsee Schliersee and is committed to maintaining and sustainably developing the Miesbach location.
