Memmingen/Unterallgäu – “At Christmas it is a good custom that you can make a wish.
The entrepreneurs in the IHK regional assembly in Memmingen and Unterallgäu also formulated their Christmas wishes in the last meeting," the IHK announced in a press release.
And this is how the Christmas wish list of the IHK-Regional sees: A business-friendly policy and predictable and competitive framework conditions, so that companies in Germany have a future.
In concrete terms, this means: More trust in the personal responsibility of companies, moratorium on burdens at national and European level, reduction of bureaucracy, acceleration of approval procedures, practicable fire protection concepts, tax reforms and relief, more flexible labor law regulations and openness to technology.
Affordable, competitive and base load energy
Essential for companies in Germany are: Political decisions with expertise and reason, instead of ideology-driven discussions.
A secure energy supply through ideology-free use of all available energy sources and easier self-generation of electricity.
Redesign of the energy pricing models, because long-term subsidies are not a sustainable solution.
The German economy needs affordable, competitive and base load energy.
Needs-based education policy and targeted immigration to promote motivation and contribute to solving the shortage of skilled workers and workers.
An open and honest debate about a national strategy for the future, politically embedded in the EU and geopolitical changes.
Because “the future depends on what we do today.”
