Florian Silbereisen got a good TV rating with his ARD show "All sing Christmas".

However, the event made one FDP politician uneasy.

Berlin/Munich – Schlager shows are not for everyone.

With his TV events on public broadcasting, Florian Silbereisen is usually one of the quota generators on German television.

However, social networks like Twitter make it possible for each person to let their displeasure (or goodwill) run free as they please.

Political celebrities have now joined the ranks of critics of the TV shows with Florian Silbereisen: Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, member of the Bundestag for the FDP and former member of the European Parliament, expressed harsh criticism of the hit show “Alle singen Weihnachts” broadcast on December 19.

Florian Silbereisen: FDP politician pulls about his Christmas show on ARD

"This embarrassing level kitsch limbo with Florian Silbereisen has nothing to do with 'Christmas', absolutely nothing at all," the 56-year-old lets know – and places an emoji choking with nausea at the end of his post.

Because he didn't like the Christmas show, the demand for a reform of public broadcasting could also be read.

A prominent politician from the FDP who complains about the TV program in the ÖRR?

With his statement, Lambsdorff encountered a lot of opposition.

Users accuse him of being factually wrong.

And instead complain about him and the Free Liberals.

The reactions are harsh on Lambsdorff and his need for information:

  • The FDP does not decide what Christmas is and what it isn't.

Basically, your worldview is far removed from the Christmas spirit.

  • Everything you don't like has nothing to do with Christmas, aha.

Does the claim to absoluteness go further?

  • Do you know how many people watch this?

You're telling them that their taste doesn't matter just because you don't like it.

    Too bad.

That brings nothing to the reform discussion.

  • If the program sucks, you can toggle or turn off.

But to want to reform immediately because of this is a bit exaggerated.

  • Good basis for discussion when a member of the party that is part of the federal government argues with a puke smiley.

    strong.

When political decisions are discussed like this in traffic lights, I'm no longer surprised.

  • When guys like you talk about class, I'm cautious at first.

I don't like the ÖRR at all, but yours even less.

Better Silbereisen than Lambsdorff, better winter sports than the FDP.

Reform of the ÖRR: User reprimands lavish salaries – Lambsdorff defends “Börse vor Acht”

Another user reminds Lambsdorff that such programs may not meet everyone's taste, but they are part of the basic service.

As far as the necessary reform of public broadcasting is concerned, he appeals that the oversupply at the expense of the fee payers should finally be ended: “Yes, anyone with taste cannot bear that.

Nevertheless, it reaches many and is therefore part of the basic supply.

Germans are tasteless.

When reforming the ÖRR, I would first like to see upper limits for salaries (EUR 200,000), pensions (EUR 3,000 per month) and severance payments (EUR 1).

To the comment of another user, the count lets himself be carried away to an answer: It is about the point that, for example, "stock market before eight" would also only be of interest to shareholders.

Lambsdorff replies to this in the spirit of his party base: "That

(stock market before eight; editor's note)

is a temperature chart of the economy, even if it may not interest everyone, as it affects millions of people who work in listed companies."

"Everyone sings Christmas" (ARD): TV show with Silbereisen with a convincing rating

Although Lambsdorff also agrees with some followers, the ARD show recorded at the end of November in the Congress Center Suhl (Thuringia) should have been a ratings success for the ÖRR.

A total of around 3.6 million viewers watched the Advent singing by Florian Silbereisen and his guests, which means a market share of 13.7 percent.

If you missed the happening "Everyone sings Christmas", you don't have to worry.

Reruns are broadcast during the Christmas season, and the TV show can also be accessed at any time in the ARD media library.

A few weeks ago there was a curious rumour: A German ski legend denied a relationship with Florian Silbereisen – and spoke of a "very imaginative report".
