A nice piece of paper in Heidelberg causes amusement on the internet.
An honest finder looks for the owner of lost money.
An unknown person in Heidelberg was granted the kind of honesty that every Maria could wish for.
A finder by the name of Julius, who can only be assumed to be a rather young contemporary, left a note for the unlucky fellow: The rightful owner of the money found should get in touch with him.
"If someone has lost money..." - an honest finder in Heidelberg writes a curious note
Money doesn't lie on the street - unless it does.
Who hasn't found a coin and pocketed it thinking that today is a lucky day?
But beware!
Money picked up off the street can also quickly become a criminal offense.
Some people, however, do not even put themselves in the questionable situation.
Like this person in Heidelberg, who apparently found money on the street - but has no plans to keep it, as HEIDELBERG24 reports!
At least the finder writes on a squared piece of paper: "If someone has lost money, contact julius.(...)@web.de" Spelling and exemplary primary school handwriting make it difficult to assume that Julius is a child.
Can the owner of the money be found that way?

This could be a problem under the current weather conditions, because contrary to the German tradition of information signs, the sheet of paper with the email address is not even laminated!
Instead, the note lies visibly sodden on the wet asphalt.
Dirt is already gathering around the scrawled letters, a bicycle tire has left an imprint.
Still, the clumsy fellow with the hole in his wallet might be lucky.
After all, the well-intentioned message has now made it onto the internet.
And there she provides a lot of amusement on the Instagram account notesofgermany.
While most users celebrate the finder, who is directly baptized "Honorary Julius", some might be hoping to throw their hats in the ring.
One writes: "It's mine.
I can describe it very precisely."
Another user jokes: "749473 Mails incoming".
749,473 emails are arriving.

Writing your private e-mail address on a piece of paper that you leave somewhere on the street shows a trust in humanity that can only be had by someone who is looking for the owner of money that he finds on the street.
After all, the exact email address in the Instagram post has been made unrecognizable.

Whether it was two euros or 2,000 lying around, one can still hope that the honest finder will also be contacted by an honest owner.
It doesn't even have to be a big bill to be worth a lot of money, because some pennies, like this 2-euro coin, are a real secret treasure in your wallet.
