Revolverheld suddenly give a concert at the Cologne Cathedral in a completely surprising way

Suddenly they were on stage: The band Revolverheld made a surprise appearance at the Christmas market at the cathedral and gave a special concert.
Cologne – It is well known that many Cologne residents are drawn to the many Christmas markets in Cologne in the run-up to Christmas.
In most cases, anyone who visits such a market knows what to expect: the smell of mulled wine and grilled goods, sweets stalls as far as the eye can see and of course all sorts of opportunities to get hold of a Christmas present at the last minute.
On December 22nd, however, visitors to the Christmas market at Cologne Cathedral were in for a real surprise: the band Revolverheld suddenly stood on the big stage below the Cologne landmark and played an unplugged concert, as 24RHEIN writes.

So singer Johannes Strate and his band mates gave some of their biggest hits like "Spinner", "I leave the light on for you" and many more.
What is special about the Christmas show of the band, which was founded in 2002?
It was only announced a few hours beforehand, so that a number of Cologne residents who simply wanted to have a mulled wine at Cologne Cathedral were taken by surprise.
When the first tones sounded, all eyes immediately turned to the stage – a real treat for Revolverheld fans even before Christmas Eve.

Revolverheld - 2023 on a big tour of Germany
Anyone who missed Revolverheld on December 22nd at the Christmas market in Cologne Cathedral will have the opportunity to see the band around singer Johannes Strate again at a concert in Cologne next year.
On September 8, 2023, the group, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022, will play at the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne-Deutz.
However, Cologne is not the only city that can currently look forward to spontaneous unplugged concerts by the German rock band.
The musicians have been traveling throughout Germany for a few days now, visiting Gießen before their performance in Cologne, for example, and saying goodbye to Dortmund after their show on the Domplatte to surprise the Christmas market visitors there as well.
What worked just as well as in the afternoon in Cologne.
