The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency has extended the no-fly zone in the center and south of the country until the second of next month.
“The no-fly regime has been extended in 11 airports in central and southern Russia until January 2, 2023,” Novosti quoted the Air Transport Agency as saying in a statement.
According to the agency, this ban includes airports in the cities of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov, Simferopol and Elista.
It is noteworthy that the no-fly regime in southern Russia is still in effect since the 24th of last February, after the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
