Leaving aside the big football games: what drew most people in front of the television in 2022?

Large formats in particular made it into the top ten - but so did the news.

Berlin – If you exclude the big football games, the “Tatort” crime thrillers from Münster attracted the most viewers in 2022.

This is shown by an evaluation by AGF video research together with GfK.

This is followed by the Münster "Tatort: ​​A friend, a good friend" of November 13 (13.633 million, 41.7 percent) and the Münster "Tatort: ​​Propheteus" of March 6 (11.512 million, 34.9 percent ).

11.115 million follow ARD "focus" on the Ukraine war

The first political program then ranks fourth: It is the ARD “Focus: war against Ukraine” on March 6 (11.115 million, 33.4 percent).

Then another “crime scene” in fifth place, this time the Cologne episode “Spur des Blutes” from October 23 (11.051 million, 34.8 percent).

This is followed by the ZDF thriller "Nord Nord Murder - Sievers and the murderous turquoise" from January 17 (10.559 million, 33.2 percent).

The first show is in 7th place: Thomas Gottschalk's ZDF spectacle "Wetten, dass..?", which lost a few feathers compared to the previous year, attracted 10.442 million (39.6 percent) in front of the screen.

This is followed by the "Tagesschau" on December 18, the day of the World Cup final, which alone saw 10.297 million (34.0 percent) in the first.

Dortmund’s “Tatort: ​​Liebe mich!” from February 20 comes in ninth (9.966 million, 28.8 percent).
