Congress approves aid grant to Ukraine that includes weapons:
After the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the US will provide an additional $45 billion aid package. Now, only US President Joe Biden's final signature remains.
The new aid package will bring American aid to almost 100 billion dollars.
The new military and economic aid will amount to about $50 billion in aid to Ukraine this year alone, as well as Western sanctions on Russia that now include a cap on Russian oil prices.

Zelensky, who returned from his historic visit to the US, thanked the members of Congress after the aid grant passed the approval of the House of Representatives "Thank you for the unwavering support for our freedom".
In the meantime, Zelensky warned the citizens of Ukraine that the attacks from Russia could intensify during Christmas.
