The Transport Department reminds the public to pay attention to the special traffic and transportation arrangements, including the road closures and diversions in stages in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and the West Kowloon Cultural District starting from this afternoon. Green minibuses and Star Ferry services will also be adjusted.

The Transport Department stated that during the Christmas Eve and Christmas holidays (24th to 27th), a number of special traffic and transportation arrangements will be implemented in conjunction with festive activities.

Road closure:


Lan Kwai Fong in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and the West Kowloon Cultural District will implement road closures and traffic diversions in phases from the afternoon of the 24th. Some bus and green minibus routes will need to be diverted, shortened or suspended;

During the road closure period, the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Terminal Bus Terminus will also be suspended from 7:30 pm on the 24th until the road is reopened and traffic resumes.
