Reinhard Cardinal Marx celebrates Christmas mass in the
Frauenkirche
from 10 p.m.
From 9.40 p.m. the cathedral choir, cathedral orchestra and soloists will get you in the mood for it.
If you have time earlier: There is a guided tour of the church at 11.30 a.m. (registration in the cathedral shop).
Music from the Petersbergl can be heard as early as midday.

The Christmas mass begins here at 10.30 p.m., the pastoral mass in G major by Karl Kempter can be heard.
At
4 p.m. there will be a crib celebration with Father Martin Stark in the
Michaelkirche in the pedestrian zone .
At 10 p.m. the Christmas mass begins with Father Andreas Batlogg.
And if the previous dates are too late for you: In the Asamkirche at Sendlinger Straße 32, the Christmas mass will take place at 5 p.m.

The Christmas night with meditative music and city dean Bernhard Liess begins in
St. Markus
at 10 p.m.
In
St. Matthäus
, the Munich Motet Choir plays at 4 p.m. at Christmas Vespers, and Christmas mass takes place at 10 p.m.

Munich: Which shops are still open on December 24th?
If you still want to go shopping on Christmas Eve, you should be quick: supermarkets and discounters have to close at 2 p.m.
But there are exceptions: Shops in a train station, for example, may be open until 5 p.m.
Shopping is also possible at petrol stations.
