The faithful can enjoy special sounds during the holidays in the Lenggrieser parish church of St. Jakob.
On the public holidays, special church music is performed in the Lenggries parish church of St. Jakob: On Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, Georg Schneeberger’s “Mass for use in the Hohenburg Castle Chapel” will be played at 10 p.m. during Christmas Eve (we reported ).
From 1821 he was a teacher and organist in Lenggries.

Music "From the old Lenggrieser music cabinet" and singing from the Liederkranz
For High Mass on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25th, at 9.30 a.m., you can look forward to music “From the old Lenggrieser music cabinet”.
The program includes the Missa in F by Ignaz Lachner.
On December 26th at 9.30 a.m. the Liederkranz will sing Boegner’s “Missa Angelica” under the new direction of Elisabeth Biller.
End of the year with Alpine song settings and mass by Haydn on Epiphany
Alpine songs will be heard at the end-of-year service on Saturday, December 31 at 7 p.m.
And on Epiphany, Friday, January 6, Joseph Haydn's St. Nicholas Mass will be performed at 9:30 a.m. at High Mass.
Soloists are Johanna Betzinger, Evi Strobl, Johann Schwedt and Johannes Janssen.
