A Syrian media delegation headed by Assistant Minister of Information Ahmed Dhawa discussed with the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Muhammad Mahdi Ismaili the existing cooperation relations between Syria and Iran, especially in the media fields.

Minister Ismaili stressed the importance of strengthening media cooperation, especially at the current stage, given the misleading Western media attack that the two countries are facing, in order to confront it and put global public opinion on the reality of what is happening in them.

Ismaili called for the exchange of media experiences between Syria and Iran to serve the two countries' common vision regarding issues of common interest, suggesting the formation of a joint committee to address the lies and misleading Western media that the two countries are exposed to, and expressed his willingness to provide all support to Syria in the media, drama and cinema fields.

In turn, Dhawa stressed the necessity of activating and strengthening cooperation between the two countries, especially in the media field, to confront Western misinformation campaigns, and to expose the methods of its media apparatus that falsify facts and facts in Syria and Iran with the aim of inflaming the situation and creating discord in them to undermine their stability and independence.

Dhawa pointed out the importance and role of the media in strengthening the bonds of friendship and developing relations in all fields, pointing out that during the visit of the Syrian media delegation to Tehran, touches were put on some joint plans in order to improve the media and artistic work.

The media delegation, headed by the Assistant Minister of Information, and the Iranian Deputy Minister of Culture for Cinema Affairs, Mohammad Khazaei, held a joint working session during which they discussed cooperation in the field of producing joint cinematic films and series.

The reality of cinematic and dramatic work in the two countries was reviewed, where Doua stressed the importance of drama and cinema in influencing public opinion in a way that serves the issues of the two countries, and called for the production of joint dramatic and cinematic works to confront the external cultural invasion.

For his part, Khuzaie expressed his desire to cooperate in this field with Syria, praising the Syrian cinematic and dramatic works that receive great resonance in the Arab and Islamic worlds, and calling for the formation of joint work teams in order to implement the artistic projects that were planned to be produced between the two countries.
