The opening of a number of conciliation courts and headquarters of the electronic issuance system for notary agencies, in addition to the restoration, rehabilitation and cladding of a number of court buildings and judicial complexes that were destroyed and vandalized by terrorists, was the most prominent of what the Ministry of Justice implemented during the year 2022.

Regarding the projects implemented by the Ministry during this year, the Director of the Joint Services Directorate in the Ministry, Eng. Zaki Ibrahim, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that two headquarters for the electronic issuance system for notary agencies have been completed in the Mezzeh and Dummar Project areas in Damascus Governorate, and in the countryside of Damascus, the Ministry opened a conciliation court. Al-Maliha is specialized in adjudicating lawsuits and judicial affairs, and providing legal services to citizens.

Eng. Ibrahim explained that the (computer building) was also rehabilitated in the Aleppo governorate, which is considered an annex and an additional headquarters for the Justice Palace in the city. In Homs, the Ministry opened Ain Al-Nisr Magistrate Court, which serves more than 90,000 people in 22 villages and five municipalities, while in As-Suwayda The project of cladding the Judicial Complex building in the city of Salkhad has been completed, and the needs of the Judicial Complex in the city of Mahrada in Hama Governorate have been secured.

In Deir Ezzor, the building of the Justice Palace was moved immediately after the completion of maintenance and restoration work, as it was subjected to vandalism and looting by terrorist organizations.

During this year, the Ministry approved the necessary studies to establish a new judicial palace in Lattakia Governorate, and is preparing to implement it. It is also working on preparing the technical studies and plans necessary to establish a Magistrate's Court building in the Saasa area in the countryside of Damascus.

Regarding the projects that work started in 2022 and work continues to complete them, Ibrahim explained that they include the supply of furniture and furnishings for the second floor in the Justice Palace building in Damascus, the implementation of the structure of the Justice Palace in As-Suwayda, the supply of the needs of the judicial complex in the city of Salkhad, and the rehabilitation of the Justice Palace in Homs.
