Deir Ezzor - SANA
For the fourth consecutive day, the people's protests in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor continued against the practices of the (Qasd) militia associated with the American occupation, demanding its expulsion from their areas.
Civil sources told SANA reporter that the people of the towns of al-Kibar and al-Kasra staged demonstrations today, during which they blocked the roads with burning tires, and chanted slogans against the militia (Qasd) and the so-called commander of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council affiliated with the militia, on the grounds that armed groups affiliated with him and a number of his relatives and companions committed the crime of rape. Two displaced women were killed in the town several days ago.
Since the twenty-first of this month, several villages in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor have witnessed continuous protest demonstrations against the (Qasd) militia and its practices against the people, and its perpetration of various types of crimes against them.
