Peter and Jaqueline fell in love on "Marriage at First Sight".

The two are still a couple after the show.

Now the groom reports openly about the first night together.

Munich – There is something for every taste in the world of dome shows: in “Der Bachelor” a desirable single distributes roses, “Love Island” leads young people looking for love in summer clothes to a tropical island and “Bauer sucht Frau” accompanies lonely farmers in their search after her great love.

The successful Sat.1 format "Marriage at First Sight" goes a step further and marries the participants directly - without them having much time to really get to know each other.

This risky experiment is in some cases a great success, but often fails miserably.

TV dream couple: Peter and Jaqueline fell in love with "Wedding at first sight".

Two lovers who have proved they were meant for each other since their lightning-fast marriage on Marriage at First Sight are Peter, 34, and Jaqueline, 26.

The likeable policeman, who passionately collects Legos in his free time, and his always cheerful sweetheart met at the wedding altar for the first time and immediately had butterflies in their stomachs.

The fact that two strangers looked into each other's eyes so deeply within a few moments and that sparks literally flew - that was a small sensation.

In the meantime, a few months have passed since Peter and Jaqueline said yes on television and anyone who follows the two on Instagram will notice immediately: the love fire is still burning.

"The greatest blessing in my life," Jaqueline enthuses about her sweetheart, who celebrates his wife with pictures together, but also likes to chat about the insider's box.

During a live stream, for example, the question arose as to whether he and his wife had slept together during their honeymoon in Portugal - to which Peter, after a moment's hesitation and encouragement from Jaqueline, had an answer ready.

The concept of "marriage at first sight" has it all

The Sat.1 show "Marriage at First Sight" delivers exactly what it promises.

Singles looking for the love story of their lives meet - but not on dates and getting to know each other carefully, but directly at the wedding altar.

The couples were carefully curated by experts, but no one knows whether the romance will last in the end.

But it doesn't matter whether it's cuddling or a heap of broken glass - it's always entertaining.

Like many other reality formats, the dome show comes from Denmark, where it is called "Gift Ved Første Blik".

In the USA, "Married at First Sight" is already in the starting blocks for the 16th season and is the best proof that the unusual concept has met with a great response from viewers.

"Been close": "Marriage at first sight" candidate Peter about the first night with Jaqueline

"We got closer on the wedding night," Peter looks back on the first night with Jaqueline with a grin in the Instagram talk with "Wedding at First Sight" colleague Dennis.

But he also makes it clear: you took your time with the important things.

"We cuddled, we made out a little, but we didn't let it get to that point," he recalls of the first intimate moments as a newly married couple.

Peter and Jaqueline fell head over heels in love with “Marriage at First Sight” – and are still a couple to this day.

"It was about to happen, but I think we both realized that we didn't want it," he reveals to his TV pal, with whom he's had a real bromance since filming under the nickname "Petniz".

"Accordingly, we talked about it the next day," he continues, "And then I said: 'Don't take offense, but I would like to have sex after the third date, please.'"

Seeing Peter and Jaqueline so overjoyed and familiar makes the matchmaker trio Sandra Köhldorfer (41), Markus Ernst (53) and Beate Quinn proud.

After all, they curate the new couples on the Sat.1 show with a lot of expert knowledge and hope for all of their protégés that love works as well in real life as it does on paper.

Unfortunately, this dream doesn't always come true, because the "marriage at first sight" participants Kinga and Morten recently announced their separation.
