The police arrested today (Sunday) the suspect of setting fire to the garbage container and throwing a punch at a woman during ultra-Orthodox demonstrations about a week and a half ago in Jerusalem.
He was arrested by the police in the Mea Shearim neighborhood of the city and taken to the police station, where his investigation continues.
The condition of the injured woman, Mirel Dzalovski, continues to be difficult.
There has been no change since her hospitalization.
The violent demonstration took place on Thursday two weeks ago in Jerusalem, with the participation of hundreds of people who set fire to trash cans, blocked the traffic lanes and threw stones at the police forces and the local security forces. The incident took place on Yehezkel Street in the city, where the demonstrators also damaged a police car. The detainees were transferred for questioning at the police station in the heart of the city.
