Stanley Chau Shou-yan hosts Christmas Mass at Stanley Prison

Accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of the Correctional Services Department (Operation and Strategic Development) Wu Chaojue, the Priest of the Correctional Services Department, Deacon Ng Wing-hung, and the Superintendent of Correctional Services, Hing Yun-cheung, Bishop Chau Shou-yan presided over the Christmas Mass at Stanley Prison today and shared with the inmates attending Believe in philosophy and send Christmas wishes.

He also visited prison hospitals to visit sick persons in custody, offering care and support during the festive season.

Chen Yuming went to Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution to preside over Christmas worship

Archbishop Chen Yuming presided over the Christmas worship at Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution last Thursday, preached and shared religious information to the inmates present, and gave them love, care and blessing.

The Archbishop of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, Joseph Chan, presided over the Christmas service at Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution on December 22.

The Correctional Services Department pointed out that all persons in custody who voluntarily participate, regardless of their religious beliefs, can receive religious and social services through the Priests of the Correctional Services Department, voluntary priests and visitors from other religious institutions.

The scope of services includes visitation, teaching, counseling, religious worship and recreational activities.
