Referee injured by puck: Gladiators game abandoned

Police are appealing for information following an incident at the Gladiators' home game on Friday.
Erding
– A referee was injured in the home game of the Erding Gladiators against the Schongau Mammuts on Friday evening.
During a stoppage of play, a previously unknown person from the spectator stands threw a puck onto the playing field.
According to the police, the puck hit the referee in the head.
Despite wearing a helmet, the woman suffered a head injury and was taken to the Erding hospital for further examination.
The hockey game was then canceled.
The investigations are still ongoing.
