The contingent of the Enforcement and Control Team of the New Territories South Regional Traffic Department, together with the mobile force and the stormtroopers, launched the "Field Hunting" operation in the area for 3 consecutive days to combat drunk driving, drug driving and related violations during the Christmas holiday Behavior.
And today (26th) at around 1:00 a.m., when the police stealth tank patrolled the Tsing Kwai Highway near the Kwai Chung Container Terminal, they found two private cars crossing the left and right at a speed of up to 200 kilometers per hour. The highway is racing towards Kowloon.
When the police chased them to the MTR Kowloon Station 6 kilometers away, they successfully stopped the two vehicles.
The sources said the two drivers claimed to be strangers to each other.
Among them, the 32-year-old male driver of the Porsche was reported as a businessman; the 30-year-old male driver of another "Subaru" was reported as engaged in auto detailing.
Both were arrested for "illegal racing", "dangerous driving" and "driving without third-party insurance".
The vehicle involved was towed away and seized.
