"Love, happiness and trust in God": The Wasentegernbach Christmas Theater promises hours of fun.

Taufkirchen

- The Christmas theater of the traditional costume association Wasentegernbach is entertaining and funny.

"Love, luck and trust in God" is the name of the comedy in three acts, which Sabine Weinberger staged for the first time as director.

So far she has always played the female lover in the plays performed by the folks in traditional costume.

Now she has followed in the big footsteps of Marlene Rampl, who was game director for many years.

And Sabine Weinberger did her job really well.

It was important to her that the viewers "can switch off at this time when everything is so serious and so many bad things are happening".

The roles are well cast, the timing is right, and the arc of suspense increases until the grand finale.

Sabine's sister Julia Weinberger plays the ingenious Uschi in a refreshing and cheerful way, who stirs up everything in the ailing pension of widow Monika Lechner (Elfriede Mangstl).

It is also really fun to watch the house pearl Walli.

Although she is mute, she can make herself understood with expressive facial expressions and wild gestures and manages everything in the boarding house.

She also takes the audience along with her game, because they are also constantly puzzling over what she wants to say again.

Rudi Wolf plays an unpleasant contemporary: the parasitic guest Mr. Brösl.

It's wonderful how he mucuses through himself with a deep Franconian accent, throws up, whimpers and makes himself unpopular with everyone.

While Mama Monika Lechner always seems quite worried and troubled, her offspring Andreas is a carefree Stenz who has taken a good look at the arrogant Sissi.

But his mother also gets spring fever when regular guest Manfred Baierl (Michael Schlickenrieder) shows up again and invites her to dance.

But the romantic tete-à-tete turns into a jealousy disaster – thanks to Uschi.

And Postler Gustl (Gerhard Mayer) is not really as inexperienced as one might think.

Eventually things escalate and come to a completely unexpected end.
