After Yair Netanyahu harshly attacked senior police and prosecutor's office officials involved in his father's cases, the prime minister-designate today (Monday) disavowed the statements about the police and prosecutor's office that caused an uproar.
In a tweet he posted on Twitter, he made it clear that even though he loves his son, they don't always agree and that he doesn't agree with all the things said.
I love Benny Yair who is an independent person with his own opinions.
Although everyone has the right to express criticism, I did not agree with the things he said that were published yesterday.

As you may recall, Yair Netanyahu, the son of the prime minister-designate, last Friday attacked senior police and prosecutors who were involved in the investigation of his father and decided to prosecute him.
"This is treason," he claimed in a broadcast on Gali Israel radio.
"Everyone knows what the punishment for treason is - it's not prison."
Yair also said that "Tafru prime minister in Israel those responsible should not stand trial and go to jail because there are serious offenses here by the senior officials in the prosecutor's office and the police, and perhaps in other places that were involved in this as well as in the media.
Yesterday, the State Attorney's Office responded to Yair Netanyahu's claims and rejected them: "The attempt to criticize and loosen the hands of the investigators in the Israel Police and the prosecutors in the prosecutor's office, who work night and day on behalf of the public and with the aim of protecting it - is bound to fail."
