"Tatort" pension?
Concern about Christmas episode
In the new episode "Mord unter Misteln", which is scheduled for Boxing Day, there is a dispute between Batic and his colleague Franz Leitmayr (Udo Wachtveitl) because Batic is finding out about retirement options without first talking to his long-time colleague about it.
"An immediate exit is not planned," emphasized the responsible BR editor Cornelius Conrad.
BR clarifies because of the "crime scene" pension
"Ivo Batic is approaching retirement age and has informed himself as a precaution about leaving the service," said Conrad.
But that doesn't mean his exit is imminent.
“Three films have already been completed with “Hackl”, “Game Over” and “Königinnen”, and further films are in preparation.
But one will be allowed to inquire."
The actors Nemec and Wachtveitl are among the longest-serving "Tatort" commissioners and have been seen in their roles since 1991.
According to BR, "Murder under mistletoe" is her 90th case.
