Today (Monday), the Movement for Purity of Morals appealed to the state attorney and the registrar of associations demanding an investigation against the designated Minister of Construction and Housing Yitzhak Goldknopf.
This, following the publications in the "Haaretz" newspaper about the apartment allegedly sold by an association managed by Goldknopf before he was elected to the Knesset to his granddaughter without the relationship between them being declared.
The movement's announcement states that "the published articles paint a disturbing picture according to which associations related to MK Goldknopf act as 'conduit associations' for other associations that operate kindergartens for the ultra-Orthodox public, contrary to the instructions of the Ministry of Education." It is evident from the market price, a real estate that she owned." This, "while giving a false report that the family connection hid," it said.

In the petition submitted by the Movement for Purity of Morals, which was based on the Haaretz investigation, it was also stated that the associations managed by Goldknopf employ a large number of his relatives "in senior positions in the associations, at a higher salary than usual, including generous salary payments to MK Goldknopf himself."
According to the movement, this raises suspicion to criminals, and therefore the state attorney must order the opening of a criminal investigation into the matter. The movement also requested that the registrar of associations order the appointment of an investigator for the associations in question, "and also work to maintain effective supervision over the conduct of the associations and take firm and strict measures against those involved in the improper conduct."
