For 30 years there has been a tradition of blowing on Christmas in the municipality of Grasbrunn, founded by the former mayor Wilhelm Dresel.
This year it was the turn of the district of Harthausen.
Grasbrunn
- Christmas blowing takes place alternately in the three districts of Grasbrunn, Harthausen and Neukeferloh - this year it was Harthausen's turn again.
After the children's nativity play in St. Andreas, the village square quickly filled up. Mayor Klaus Korneder welcomed around 250 visitors.
The Ammerthal brass band played Christmas carols, the Harthausen volunteer fire brigade served mulled wine and children's punch.
Small children jostle to leave - for presents
At the end of the event, the small children pushed their parents to leave, while visitors without children used the time after the end to chat.
Korneder explicitly thanked the people of Ammerthal, who have been responsible for the musical performance since the beginning of Christmas blowing, and the Harthausen fire brigade for the smooth running of the event.
