Two boys, aged 13 and 16, were killed tonight (Monday) in a car accident on Highway 6, near Baqa al-Gharbia.
MDA medics and paramedics who were called to the scene of the accident pronounced the boys dead on the spot and evacuated four injured people to the hospital in moderate condition.
The accident occurred when the private vehicle, in which there were six passengers, collided with the safety fence on Route 6 heading south, near the Bakka Jet interchange. Apart from the dead Four people were injured in the accident: a 38-year-old man and three boys, ages 12, 13 and 16. The four received medical treatment from the MDA team and were taken to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera.

MDA paramedics, Said Majadala and Mai Dayan, and MDA senior medic, Yarin Harbi, defined the accident as "severe and shocking".
"We saw a crushed vehicle on the road whose parts were scattered everywhere, an unconscious boy was trapped in the back seat of the car, and at a distance of about 30 meters from the vehicle another boy was lying unconscious, they suffered severe multi-system damage, we tried to save them and performed medical tests, unfortunately they were without signs alive and in a short time we had to determine their death," they said.
"Four other passengers, a 38-year-old man and three boys aged 16, 13 and 12 were outside the car fully conscious and suffering from bruises. We gave them medical treatment and evacuated them for further tests and treatment at the hospital, where their condition is defined as moderate and stable."
