Fire brigade has to go: Advent wreath in Bad Wörishofer Hotel catches fire

There was a fire in a Bad Wörishof hotel this morning.

Bad Wörishofen – It is thanks to an attentive hotel employee that a burning Advent wreath in a Bad Wörishofen hotel on Monday morning did not turn into a Christmas catastrophe.

Early in the morning (around 4:30 a.m.) on Boxing Day, the employee noticed that an Advent wreath had caught fire in the hotel's restaurant area.

Around 30 emergency services from the Bad Wörishofen fire brigade, the rescue service and the police were quickly on site and put out the fire before the fire spread to the hotel.

Fortunately, no one was injured, the property damage is around 5,000 euros.

Since, according to the police, there was no danger to the guests, the hotel did not have to be evacuated.

Investigations into how the fire could have started were carried out by the Bad Wörishofen police on site.
