Ford driver rammed car with four young men while intoxicated

Intoxicated, a 52-year-old from Munich drove his Ford on the B471 near Ismaning into the oncoming lane and rammed a car with four young men.
Ismaning
- On Friday, December 23, at around 8:50 p.m., a 52-year-old man from Munich drove his Ford southbound on federal highway 471.
A 20-year-old from the district of Munich came towards him with a Mercedes.
In the 20-year-old's car there was a 20-year-old as a passenger, as well as a 20-year-old and a 19-year-old, all from the Munich district.
Ford gets into the opposite lane
At the Ismaning exit, the driver of the Mercedes noticed that the Ford was coming towards him in his lane, the police report.
It was too late to dodge, both vehicles collided.
Ford driver taken to hospital by ambulance
The 52-year-old suffered minor injuries in the accident.
He was taken to a Munich clinic by the ambulance service.
Of the occupants of the Mercedes, only the passenger suffered minor injuries.
He was treated right at the scene of the accident and did not have to go to the hospital.
The person who caused the accident was clearly under the influence of alcohol
Already during the recording of the accident, the 52-year-old was found to be clearly under the influence of alcohol.
His driver's license was confiscated.
The Munich traffic police are conducting further investigations into, among other things, endangerment of road traffic as a result of alcohol and negligent bodily harm.
Federal highway 471 closed
Both cars were no longer drivable and had to be recovered by a towing company.
The police headquarters in Munich reported that there were no major traffic disruptions despite the brief closure of the federal road to record the accident and clear the scene of the accident.
