In a long and in-depth post, the star opened his heart and shared the medical drama that befell him and his wife, when the two welcomed their eldest son into the family

Ofer Schechter became a father at the age of 41 and embraced a first-born son.

In a post he uploaded to his website, he shared with his followers that along with the excitement and joy, the process was accompanied by a complex and not simple drama.

"I am a father. But I will dedicate this post to women. My wife Ksenia went through a very challenging birth, three days of contractions, each contraction comes with a sharp pain that pierces her body and she breathes and hurts and goes through more of the teacher.

And I'm from the side holding her hand and broken inside.

I would have already given up and solved it with a caesarean section, but she is strong and continues on even though she has not closed an eye for forty-eight hours, because she is not there for herself, she is there for her baby.

"And next to her are other strong women who embrace and contain - the midwives of the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, headed by my one and only sister, Dr. Gil Schechter Maor, director of the delivery room.

For a moment they did not give up on her, at every step they offered the right solution for her and the baby, how to prevent the baby from getting into distress, and how to maintain his and Xenia's health so that she could give birth the way she wanted.

"Ksenia's body took three days to reach the moment of birth and at each stage another midwife is with her, giving her exactly what she needs at that moment. And so they alternate throughout the day and night, a midwife ends her shift and another midwife arrives who brings new comfort in moments of crisis.

"In these moments you see the feminine power, which is found in their cooperation, connection and empathy, the strength they give to each other is irreplaceable. And my sister is always there like a solid rock, on one side a doctor on the other side a mother on the third side a nurse, balancing the forces, fighting for Xenia and for the baby.

"This day made me look at women in a different way, you bring life to the world, you have the real power, you have the power to move mountains, you are the driving force.

"Thank you to all the women at the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, thank you to my older sister who always watches over me like a mother and thank you to my wife who let me see her in her most vulnerable moments and showed me how much more room there is for love and connection between us. Thank you to all the women in the world, you are life.

Welcome to the world of Seldinka (intended for the Russian audience)

PS: We even got a room with a window," he captioned the post jokingly.
