About two years after she became a widow, Naomi decided to leave her large house in Ramat Hasharon and move to sheltered housing in Hazut Tzahala. She turned to architect Noura Goldberg, with whom she had a previous acquaintance. In order for you to help her in the redesign of the penthouse unit she chose to move into in the compound of Hazut Tzalah. When they reached the interior design stage, the architect referred Barnea to the interior designer Yankel'a Zankar for cooperation in the project. The apartment covers one level that includes a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms (one for guests and one master), bedroom, study and garden.

"We faced two challenges," Tsenkar explains, "one - to increase the sense of space in the apartment, and the other to include as much free space as possible in the apartment, which has an area of 80 square meters." During the long years she lived in a spacious villa, Barnea accumulated a lot of clothes, jewelry, shoes, accessories, kitchen utensils, and textile items, which Naomi loved and wanted to take with her. Even after initial sorting, there was still a respectable amount of equipment that needed to be stored. herself to reality and the new environment.

These qualities allowed her (and us) to sort, thin out, divide and reduce as much as possible and still pass on her greediness."

In the process of renovating the penthouse, it was decided to remove the wall that separates the living area of the apartment from the roof terrace, and the wall that separates the bedroom from its balcony.

Eliminating these two walls actually increased the living area and bedroom.

The walls that were removed were replaced by showcases that stretch across the width of the rooms, creating a large sense of space.
