An adult street cleaner went to work today (Monday) in Ashdod at the height of the rain.
In the documentation that was uploaded to social networks, the person is seen wearing a raincoat and leading a cart with his tools up a street, while it is raining heavily.
In response, the municipality undertook to handle the case.
The surfer who uploaded the video was furious with the municipality.
"For someone in the Ashdod municipality to explain to me why an elderly man whose life circumstances led him to clean streets should go to work on a morning like this and what exactly is he supposed to clean? Shame," she wrote on Twitter.
"We thank you for drawing our attention to these workers, and we will make sure that the employment procedure is more appropriate and compassionate," the Ashdod municipality said in response.

Throughout the day, heavy rain fell throughout the country, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.
In Rishon Lezion, a 29-year-old man was slightly injured by cables that were torn as a result of a tree collapse, and was taken by the MDA team to the Shamir-Assaf Harofeh hospital. Flooding was recorded in the streets of the city, as well as in Bnei Brak and other cities in the center and in the lowlands. Flooding occurred in the southern streams, including Nahal Dargot and Nahal Rowing.
Local rain is expected to continue during the night and gradually weaken. The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and thunderstorms are expected in the center of the country and in the south. There will remain a fear of floods in the southern and eastern rivers. Tomorrow the temperatures will rise slightly but it is still possible to drizzle to light local rain. Northerly winds will blow along the coast wakefulness.
