According to the Hospital Authority, 928 confirmed patients from residential care homes for the elderly were admitted to hospital in the past week, a continuous increase from 653 and 553 respectively in the past two weeks.

The bureau expressed concern about the situation and will closely monitor the situation, maintain close communication with relevant government departments and residential care homes for the elderly, and strengthen the outreach team's medical support to residential care homes for the elderly.

Po Kong Village Road and Tiu Keng Leng Sports Center will be transferred to respite centers on Wednesday

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that five gymnasiums will be temporarily closed for epidemic prevention purposes until further notice.

Among them, Po Kong Village Road Sports Center and Tiu Keng Leng Sports Center will be transferred to respite centers from 28th (Wednesday); as for Tsing Yi Southwest Sports Center, North Kwai Chung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Center and Jockey Club Tuen Mun Butterfly Bay Sports Center, they will be transferred from 29th (Thursday) Converted to a respite center.

​For the refund arrangement due to the closure of the venue, the renter can complete the refund application form and mail or submit it together with the original permit to the relevant District Leisure Services Office of the LCSD.
