Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the problem of implementing the grain deal has not been fully resolved, but there are significant achievements.
"So far, the problem has not been completely resolved, although there has been a great achievement, but there is still something to be done," Peskov was quoted as saying by Novosti, adding that Moscow, Ankara and the United Nations are making great efforts.
Russia has repeatedly declared that needy countries receive a small amount of grain as well as problems in supplying Russian fertilizers to the world market.
On July 22, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey signed an initiative mediated by the United Nations to provide a humanitarian sea corridor for ships that export food and fertilizers from Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea. However, Moscow decided to suspend its participation in this deal in response to the Ukrainian terrorist attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet that took place. Participates in ensuring safe passage of grain.
