During the operation, officers found an 18-year-old female customer surnamed Wang in a catering establishment on Shanghai Street showing an electronic needle card suspected to belong to someone else. The woman was arrested on suspicion of "misleading the police officers".

As the woman failed to provide a valid vaccine pass, she was suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccination Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L), and a fixed penalty notice was also issued to her.

As for the 36-year-old local male person in charge of the premises, he was suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Establishments) Regulations ( Cap. 599F) was arrested, the offending premises must also be closed for 14 days.

The two arrested persons have been released on bail pending further investigation and are required to report to the Police in late January.

In addition, the Miscellaneous Investigation Team of the Tsim Sha Tsui Division and the West Kowloon Mobile Unit inspected a number of premises with liquor licenses in the district yesterday (December 26) night, reminding the premises operators, practitioners and citizens to strictly abide by the epidemic prevention regulations.

During the operation, officers found a 32-year-old female customer surnamed Liang in one of the bars showing someone else's vaccine pass record to the inspectors.

She is being detained for investigation on suspicion of "attempting to mislead police officers" and breaching the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccination Pass) Regulations (Cap. 599L).
