CHRONICLE - For the people, the cost of living has exploded. The current demonstrations are also food riots. The ideological defeat is obvious.


A hundred days ago, a 22-year-old young woman died in a police station in Tehran, whom the religious police had arrested on the pretext that her veil did not sufficiently cover her hair.

It is, in Iranian youth, the drop of water which broke the camel of forty years of oppression of a regime claiming to govern in the name of God, but whose henchmen are for the most part corrupt.

Demonstrations against the mullahs have not ceased since, despite 500 deaths and 20,000 arrests. The movement has spread throughout Persia, with the protest reaching more than 130 cities.

Instead of hearing the popular anger, the regime opted for hardening.

On December 7, 2022, a 23-year-old young man was hanged for blocking an avenue in Tehran and hitting a basij (paramilitary militia in support of the Islamic Revolution founded by Ayatollah Khomeini in November 1979).

Since then, more than twenty death sentences of demonstrators have been handed down.
