In Saint-Avit-de-Tardes (Creuse)
The sound detonates in the Creuse countryside.
The roar and sporty lines of Jean-Maurice Allart's Dodge Viper contrast with the autumnal monotony of southern Creuse.
The black and white car weaves between the Limousin fields and the houses scattered over the town of Saint-Avit-de-Tardes.
At the wheel, the Montargis doctor savors.
He sees, finally, the Mas du Clos circuit which he missed so much.
“He has changed a bit, but not that much!
There are always these curves and this difference in height that it is difficult to find elsewhere”
, exclaims the 50-year-old between two photos taken with his smartphone.
As if to immortalize the end of a long wait:
“I first came here in 1982 and then rode regularly.
Everyone was very disappointed when the closure was announced in 2010. We followed its restoration from afar via the networks and the media.
Today, the Loiretain can again enjoy the site, reopened...
