Transplant marathon in the pre-Christmas days at the Molinette in Turin: in about 100 hours, between 20 and 24 December, 24 were performed. "An extraordinary result - they comment to the Città della Salute - made possible thanks to an unprecedented effort by the nursing staff but, above all, to donors and their families, from Piedmont, Aosta Valley and other regions of Italy, who made the greatest gift for Christmas".
Among the interventions, the one relating to a liver transplanted from a 97-year-old donor stands out.
